Google, Tripadvisor, Booking.com, Expedia, HolidayCheck and Zoover, plus Trip.com and Agoda when we can match the hotel there. We gather up to a few hundred reviews from each site, and one analysis reads up to 2,000 of them. The report says how many reviews it drew on.
No. We look for signs of manipulation, like a burst of near-identical five-star reviews in the same week, and flag them in the report. We don't delete anyone's review on a hunch, so you decide how much weight to give what we flagged.
It's an AI judgement drawn from the reviews and kept close to the hotel's average rating across the sites. Two runs can land slightly apart, so treat a difference of a few tenths as noise, not a verdict.
Each one is an analysis we ran and a person checked before publishing. Running your own analysis doesn't publish anything.
